The Real Story Behind This Invitation...
Five years ago, I opened my mailbox to find a cease and desist letter.
A multi-million dollar company was suing my small flower essence business for using the word "Gaia." They had trademarked the name of our PLANET.
In that moment, I felt the fire of what wanted to come through me. A roar of my own Sacred Activism. I wanted to fight for what was right.
In my mind, I kept hearing "There has to be room for all of us at the table."
But the lawyer made it clear: they do this all the time. There is no room for anyone else. And if I spoke out against this, I could be sued for defamation.
In that moment, I felt the system trying to silence me. To make me disappear quietly. To accept that there wasn't space or desire for what I was creating.
But I knew in my own self that is not the world I choose to live in. There is room for all of us at the table.
I kept seeing an image of a huge round table where creators, healers, and visionaries gathered in collaboration rather than competition. Where we weave new possibilities together instead of fighting over scraps. Where each voice is wanted, received, and acknowledged.
That's when I understood: the world we're dreaming won't exist until we have the courage to awaken it ourselves, speak it into reality, and live it, together.
